On Thursday I had my final day at one of my highschools I was teaching at. When I went in to teach the class some of the students had written up on the board dear Te Raehira We thank you 10000 . We love you from 2-C (the pretty girls). I thought it was super kawaii/cute……and then I thought maybe…….. only in Japan?
And then I come to Ibaraki and get a piece of home, listening to Nesian Mystic, and surrounded by familiar alcoholic beverages such as Monteith’s, Export Gold and my favourite - Feijoa Vodka - oh yeah I can close my eyes and export myself…..(home)
What a nice way to end the week.

Hi all!
Well Im not really sure what to write, as the past month or so has been pretty quiet (apart from being plesantly surprised by the warm winter so far, therefore not being struck down by a cold or flu!)
Recently have been following the cricket (the annual Chappell-Hadlee series) from back home in Aotearoa. Since first being played 2 seasons ago it has been tightly contested (with the 2004/2005 series ending in a tie and the 2005/2006 being won by Australia 2-1). However “The BlackCaps”/NZ had other ideas this time round, as they handed out a 3-0 thrashing to our poor trans-tasman rivals (including a 10 wicket thumping and surpassing the second highest run chase in history, twice!). So as a keen kiwi sports fan, Im pretty stoked! Obviously cricket is not so popular in Japan, however if you come along to the Mission Bay bar sometime, I`ll be glad to show you the rules etc

Have been busy editing my video footage from the Philippines (due to my lightning fast computer!) and have finally produced the final copy. I`ll be sure to put a copy onto DVD sometime and show you one of the most beautiful countries I`ve been to so far (including the world famous White Beach).
Other than that, have just been trying to live as cheap as possible and save a wad of cash before heading to Europe/UK (via South East Asia).
Looking forward to welcoming in the spring season in the coming months and checking out some cherry blossom, beaches and a few more temples before saying “sayonara!”

Edo desu, Hajime mashite!! been helpin’ Tom out these Sat n Sun in Mission Bay, n must say Its been absolutely fun n cool experience. Never thought I would see my Fav NZ Beers, good old Tui n Steini, again 
. Also met some really nice n friendly people here in Mission Bay who helped me with my japanese. Really great to have found this cool place in Ibaraki, or as the Kiwis would say “Sweet As!!” 
Looking forward to come here again, n meet some cool people, Tom San, thanx for the opportunity n Gambatte kudasai!!

シズさんがNewZealand のワーホリ出発前に
お店に来てくれました。
NZ話で盛り上がり、楽しい夜でした。

お客さんの中浜さんに案内してもらったので、
気兼ねなく質問できました。

井戸水の説明の写真、軟水でおいしかった。
神棚、歴史を感じます。
お酒のタンクです、
昔は木の樽でしたが目減りするためホローになりました。
お酒の税金が仕込んだ時の量でかかるため、素材が
木以外の材質のものをつかいました。
樽ですが、ここの酒蔵では注意
されませんでしたが、前日か、今朝に納豆を食べると
納豆菌が残っているので注意が必要です。
最後に物販、いろんなお酒関係のお土産がありました。
次は半年後です。
また行きます。

の蔵開きのイベントに行ってきました。
お店のお客さんに教えて頂いて行ったのですが、
ちょうどバッタリ会ったので、色々案内してもらいました。
阪急富田から歩いて五分位でした。

先日、ラグビー好きの親子、と選手とコーチが来ました。
（息子さんは今、NZにラグビー留学しているらしい。）
茨木で岩盤浴のお店を経営しているみたいで、
広告をmissionbayに置いて欲しいと言っていたのを思い出し、
用事でお店の近くまで行ったので、のぞいてみた。
チラシを貰い、どんな所か見て帰ろうとすると
女性SATFFに呼び止められ、『今は女性専用です。』
と爽やかな笑顔で断られた。
、、、、、、、、、。
なおさら、missionbayの皆さんの為に（ちょっと自分の為。）
見ておかなければ、と聞こえないふりをしたが、
？？？？？。
ダメだった。
今度は女装していこう。
